Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p class=\"h3\">1. <strong>Ice Cream Cone Garland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"h4\">Supplies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sheets of paper for the cone (cut into 5\u201d x 5\u201d squares)<\/li>\n<li>Assorted colored tissue paper<\/li>\n<li>Tape<\/li>\n<li>Twine, yarn, or ribbon (at least 24\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Hole puncher<\/li>\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Ice-Cream-Garland-Edited-1024x379-1024x379.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1014\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11209 size-large\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Ice-Cream-Garland-Edited-1024x379.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Ice-Cream-Garland-Edited-1024x379-300x111.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Ice-Cream-Garland-Edited-1024x379-768x284.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1014px) 100vw, 1014px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"h4\">Directions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Roll the paper into cone shapes and tape along the seam.<\/li>\n<li>Punch holes on opposite sides of the cones about an inch from the top edge.<\/li>\n<li>String the twine through the cones leaving enough twine at both ends to hang on your wall or mantle.<\/li>\n<li>Roll tissue paper up into generous baseball-sized scoops of yummy ice cream and place at the top of your cone. Use glue to hold in place.<\/li>\n<li>Top your cones with cherries by rolling red tissue paper into tiny balls or using red pom-poms. Affix with glue.<\/li>\n<li>Use your colorful garland to decorate any space! These treats are good in any weather and won\u2019t melt!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"h3\">2. <strong>Thumbprint Fireflies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"h4\">Supplies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pencil<\/li>\n<li>Construction paper<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Yellow paint<\/li>\n<li>Black marker<\/li>\n<li>Foil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.silverdolphinbooks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Firefly-Final-1024x1024-400x400.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"h4\">Directions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Draw a jar on the piece of construction paper. Use scissors to cut it out.<\/li>\n<li>Use black marker to draw an arced dotted line to create the bottom of the jar.<\/li>\n<li>Dip thumb in yellow paint and press on construction paper jar to create the bodies of the fireflies. Let dry.<\/li>\n<li>Cut foil for the lid of the jar and glue down. Stack the 5 pieces of paper and cut around the shape.<\/li>\n<li>Fold the sheets of paper in half and glue each side to another paper to make it 3D.<\/li>\n<li>Cut your toilet paper roll in half and glue some dots or other designs on it. Feel free to use stickers or whatever you may have around the house!<\/li>\n<li>Tape two pieces of ribbon or string to the inside of the paper roll. Tape the other sides to the paper balloon. Set aside and let dry.<\/li>\n<li>Cut a circle out of the yellow construction paper.<\/li>\n<li>Draw a face on your sun.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange your popsicle sticks to look like sun rays. Feel free to add glitter or jewels here if you want a sparkly jellyfish.
